Firstly, last chance to enter my giveaway which closes tomorrow click here if you have not yet entered.
Today I have a Butter London polish to show you - Two Fingered Salute. I usually pass Butter London polishes becuase of the price tag although the unusual colour of this one and slightly naughty name won me over.
This is four coats of Two Fingered Salute (yes four). The formula on this was quite sheer and on the thin side. Two fingered Salute is a muted green with copper flecks. Very unusual, reminds me of a flecked duck egg.
Price? I got mine of ebay for £10 which is slightly cheaper then how much it retails on Butter London where polishes are £12.
Yeah I know, I've been on the missing. But I haven't disappeared completely. I still have lots of new polishes to show you, I just have to find the time to swatch. Today I have one of the Metal Flip Polishes from Miss Sporty - Fiery Blaze. I have the collection in my giveaway here.
This is 3 coats of Fiery Blaze. A blue based duochrome which switches from purple/green/gold. Love Love Love this, its my favourite from the collection. The colours are are a bit like Orly space cadet but smooth rather then glass flecked, I'll have to do a comparison with Revlon Kiwizing, as I think its similar. Prize £1.99 each from Miss Sporty Online or Superdrugs in store.
As promised here is a new Giveaway! A show of my appreciation for you all, my lovely readers. Closes 11th November and open internationally. I've been able to pick up a few new products such as one of the MUA Nail constellations in Gemini, Miss Sporty Metal Flip collection and of course the cult classic Gosh's holographic polish. Hope you like the prizes.
Sorry I've been so neglectful of my blog recently. Its not motivation, its the long hours at work which has been making it difficult for me to find time to swatch. However I have a giveaway coming up this weekend so stay tuned!
Here is the new collection from Topshop - Dark Shade Of Nude. Totally has that 'Buffy the Vampire' feel.
Available now from Topshop. As always, Topshop bump the price up for their limited collections, £6.50 per Polish, Eyeshadow £16, Lips £9, Mascara £10.
I have one of China Glazes new Halloween polishes to show you today, part of the Wicked Collection. I don't have lots of glitters in my collection as I find them a bit of a chore to wear, removal always seems to be a hassle. I'm a sucker for Halloween collections so I got over my glitter snobbery for this collection :-) This is Glitter Goblin.
This is two coats of Glitter Goblin over Misa's Bourbon on the Rocks. Glitter goblin is a glitter polish (obviously) containing brown, orange and holographic particles in a clear base. I haven't used a topcoat in these shots but I suspect these would have looked much better if I had. I picked my bottle up at Olympia Beauty but I think these are widely available now.
